Hi, I want to place a pic of my car as my avatar, so uploaded it to my photo bucket site, then selected pic copied it & then pasted it to the box in my profile. But the box already has the http/: bit inserted how do you do it, also some people have pics in their posts & others you have to click on a link why is this? any help appreciated... phil

Go to edit profile>options, then click the box marked "I have my own pic", then paste in the Photobucket URL, which should have copied earlier from your Photobucket page.

Just delete this before you add the link.  When you click on the photobucket link it will be automatically copied to your clip board so all you need to do is hit Ctrl + V and it should work fine.  If not try one of the other 3 photbucket links until you get the right one.
