Postage nightmare?

The good news, is that I'm doing well with the Elite break.

The bad news is, I am worried about costs / arrangements for postage.

I need to send:

4 x camshafts to Derby (They're heavy!)

2 x Cats to Sailbury

what's the best and cheapest way to get these things done? parcelforce? Comments welcome (needed!)

If SWMBO is out....bathroom scales....

I use a parcel reseller - ie they buy say 1000 pick ups a day from parcelforce but customer pays 60% less than parcelforce. So although you go through an intermediary to buy its parcelforce that pick it up and deliver :o

Example....rover k series head - next day delivery - picked up from my house - delivered £9.79 :y

omega relay might be cheaper, since beer is usually the preferred currency  :y
