Simon....
Thinking about putting front and rear bits on my mini facelift estate to change it a bit, thinking I might need bonnet and a few other things, but not sure. Can you advise what is needed to change over to facelift look?

Thanks

Mike.

you need a new front slam pannel to do the front bonnet, in my opinion, a lot of effort realy.
can change front and rear bumpers, but sometimes just as well with the time and effort to change the car than mess about too much.

No you dont, i let my brother have all the bits from the front end of the MV6 i was breaking to put on his pre mini facelift and its all gone on great and now looks like a facelift and he even had the boot lid and rear bumper (estate) and that to has gone on with ease so sixstring get your self the bits and in half a day you could make your omega look a good few years newer :y

That was the general idea, mate!! just got to get a bonnet, front and rear bumpers, and possibly rear estate hatch and headlights?????

Could somebody please make me a definative "shopping list" or would it just be better for me to buy a mot failure facelift and strip it??

TIA,

Mike

With the amount of parts you want your best bet is to try and find a facelift V6 with a shot engine or 2.2/2.0 then you get all the parts you need and plus you can sell some parts and the shell should get you about £150 as scrap is about £130 a ton at the mo so you could if you do it right get your parts for free :y
