Will get Cambelt & Waterpump plus rocker gasket this weekend.

Yep. This is why I didn't really want to change the engine - TWICE!!!!

I now have a gearbox problem to deal with. Whining like a bugger today, so drop pans and fluid change at the weekend. It runs like a dream on LPG though. 44 litres for £20! Hah!

I also recognise that... I think I may have even driven it, and there's a remote chance I may have worked on it ;D ;D

I have just driven my LPG veccy down to Bob Dents in Barnstaple and back - 303 mile round trip.

Gas tank was full when I left home, and I refuelled it when I got back. Cost me £19.98 in LPG. I was expecting maybe £30, I was amazed by this.

303 miles for £19.98 - anyone beat that?

(Having said that, I probably spent another tenner on oil for the trip ;D ) = I MUST fix that bloody camcover.......  ::)

quick question, is there any way of having a LPG conversion without having the filler cap on the outside as it ruins the looks of the omega

Not sure on the legal side of that, possible something to do with venting, but physically it could be anywhere. I don't think it ruins the loos at all. It tells people beside you that you luxury V6 car uses less fuel than their Fiesta 1.1!

You could always spray it same colour as your car to help it blend in......or have it mounted just underneath the bumper....ie semi outa sight but still easy to get to......i dont think it really matters where its fitted, tho it would have to be outside of the car  :y
