Expenses - Taxman?
« on: 04 August 2007, 23:55:31 »

Just wondering, I've just put in a claim for £611 worth of expenses at work, all relating to mileage and severn bridge tolls.

Apparently it will be paid via BACS in 1 week.

Will I get taxed / national insurance taken from this? If so, how badly?

No you won't. These are monies you have paid out of your after tax money, ie your own cash. Al you are getting is that cash replaved, these are not earnings and thus non taxable.
