Mate of mine popped in this morning and took a real shine to the CDX, so much so he has offered me his car as a straight swap!
He has a V6 CDX Vectra on a R plate, 98K, manual, saloon, black with 19s on it.  Had one of these before, and there pretty quick, and this one is no different as I found out when I took it for a spin, goes like stink, and hes getting 28mpg round town, very tempting!

But after having the mega for a bit now the veccy seemed really small inside, especially in the back seats! And with lots of baby stuff to lug about these days it just dont seem practical, a hatchback or estate maybe I would have said yes straight away.
Am also kinda tempted for the fact it aint an auto, would love a manual V6. Or should I just wait till a manual mega comes my way?

But after the blood sweat and temper tantrums I have put into my CDX am a bit hesitant to let her go, am kinda attached to her :-/
I guess me and the mega have a good healthy love hate relationship going on!

Any thoughts fellas?

only a decision you can make I'm afraid.  Veccy-B, imho, is a bit naff, Veccy-C is much better car, although pig ugly at the front.

Personally, I couldn't own a Veccy-B, but possibly could a Veccy-C

Although really tempted by the fact its manual, as a saloon it just doesnt have the space I become used to with the mega.
But shit, it is really quick Far quicker than the mega, just not practical enough.

Recon I might just wait till a manual mega comes my way!

As you said yourself, small inside, do you really want a fwd & my main question would be, were you thinking about getting a veccy before you were offered the swap?
    Not knocking veccies, they're not bad motors but ask yourself if you could love it like a Mig.
      Maybe a man. est. cdx would suit you better?

driven, and own both, even though the omegas in the fleet are older than my (02) veccy sri v6.....id go omega every time

Had the V6 Veccy before and was always pleased with how well it went! Even a veccy hatch is gonna have the same legroom in the back as the saloon i guess. But will be sticking to the mega, although that manual box on the V6 veccy was mighty tempting

No like I said, will stick with the love hate relationship me and me mega have going on! If I do go for manual its gonna be a manual mega

Keep the Omega - the Veccy is quick cos it's lighter.  The doors are thin and don't clunk when when you close them and the boot for kids is no where near as good.
