Norbar torque wrenches are indeed the best of the best.....

Elora are pretty good, King Dick used to make superb ratchets.....the Snap on stuff is about on a par with Draper pro range from my experience.

Snap On is far from the best......its only so popular with mechanics because it can be bought on the drip which when you want a big tool box or are just starting up is beneficial....

Man father has many Snap-on items including torque wrenches and sockets/ratchets.....and they are good but, only worth about a third of what they cost.[/quote]

Probably right, as most things you pay for the name

So what do you think are the best then if not Snap On? (even though your the Man I have to disagree ;)

As anything, it is only peoples personel opinions on which are the best tools, like the cars we drive, some think they are the dogs, others think not.

opinions only.

For what its worth i`ve gone with Marks recomendation....although i have no doubting the ability of snap on, halfords etc etc etc..

Thought...maybe an area for expansion on the forum....tool review  :-/
