set of Irmscher Sportstars FS
« on: 10 September 2010, 21:04:10 »

Sitting here this evening and have decided to have a change of route as regards my Omega Estate.  Keeping the car, no worries there, just a change of tack, so to speak as regards rims and general finish.

As a result, I have a set of 4 bead blasted and powder coated 18" Irmscher Sportstars that I was going to fit.  All are 8Jx18Hs with ET38 offset.  See pics further down.  They are looking really really good, even though I say so myself.  No good pics as they are buried under sheets in the garage and too late to dig them out but will add a couple of happy snaps in a bit.

Set of 4, fitted with Toyo Proxes with near new tread.  Price is £650 and *MAY* be able to deliver to the Bolton area towards the end of the month, courtesy of the OOF Pony Express.

Rims are very much Omega fitment but, sad thing is, the tyres ARE THE WRONG SIZE for Omega.  They are 245/45ZR18 which creates too large a rolling diameter and simply will not fit onto the front struts.  Tyres are worth at least a hundred quid sold onto someone who can fit them, so makes the rims a bit of a cheapie, methinks....

Is it worth taking the tyres off and selling them, the tyres, on eBay H? Nobody wants the boots on here?  :-/
