Omega Bits including Irmscher Front Bumper
« on: 23 May 2011, 18:59:38 »

The truck isn't gonna get finished for various reasons, but mainly spiralling fuel and insurance costs. Plus the fact that The Louts doesn't like living outside!
So, a few Omega parts are for sale.

Brand new unused Facelift Irmscher front bumper, mint condition (obviously wants painting) c/w fittings, foglights, etc - still in it's packaging. :o
Finding another would be a bit on the 'difficult' side..............
£500

Then there's a set of pre-facelift almost mint Irmscher Soft Star 17" wheels plus mid-price tyres only run for a couple of hundred miles then taken off road - £300

Facelift Irmscher estate rear spoiler in green (which green, I don't really know, but it's kinda dark mica metallic) still on a decent tailgate. £40 ovno

Bose kit inc phone, speakers, looms, head unit etc - £100 ono.  Buyer to remove from dash and front doors.

Removable towbar and twin electrics - £75

Rest of truck can go in one for £250 - 2.5 V6 auto, some interior electrics don't work, but AC did work fine. Some vacuum hoses on the engine are FUBAR. Needs gaskets and breathers doing.
Auto box works well.
Rear wheel bearings done 3/4 years ago.
ABS module replaced around 15k miles back.
Dispack replaced around the same time.
Front springs, all four discs and pads replaced about 20k miles back.
Facelift Elite wheels (need refurb) and shot tyres included.

More details please PM me, pics on request.

Bumper

Wheels & Tyres

The pics were taken last winter, and only moved twenty feet (back into the garage) since then.
Tyres are 2x Admiral SP712 with 5-6mm tread and 2x Dunlop SP Sport 9090 with 4-5 mm tread.
All tyres are 235/45 ZR 17 in size.

Thought you had a buyer for the removable towbar?   :-?   :-/

Obviously not, so I'm still happy to purchase.  Please advise postage.   :y

Yeah, he bailed when he sold my old MV6. ::)
To be honest, it would probably be bloody expensive - the ball itself weighs a fair bit, then there's the steel work to throw into the equation.
Also it's a matter of having time to remove things that bothers me - I have alot on, but if I can get an hour or so at the weekend, I'll get it off and weigh it up. Can't promise owt, mind.......

I will be at the Lakes meet in the next few weeks and would happily take in a trip to your good self to uplift the bar and wiring complete, if you are in a position to remove it meantime?

I've just bought a fixed one from Witter and it's in excess of 20Kgs ;) ;)

Anyway... If you want LPG on the Bonny Gold Beast you might want to stick with a Flange type tow bar to mount the filler on ;) ;)

Consider it a definite.   :y  Can sort out the logistics of uplift after removal.  I also travel up and down the country regularly, albeit without any known timetable, week to week.   ;)   :y
