BUT someone beat me to it by 8 seconds!!!!

I just finished reading the ebay ad. 1999 V reg Elite, 95k from new. Misfiring due to head gasket failure  ;) Yeah right. I know what is wrong with that.

5 months tax, 12 months MOt and a BUY IT NOW of £500!!!!!! 94 people read it before me and none bought it. I read quickly and thought - be quick. Someone else got it. Worth a grand in bits or a £50 fix with one of my many spare parts.

I didn't actuially want it, but at that price I would have snapped their arm off for it. SO close and yet........................ >:(

I know, I know. But at a monkey this would have been an absolute bargainh. GUTTED I missed out by 8 seconds. I pressed the BUY-IT-NOW button to be told the item was no longer available. How sad is that! Someone is going to make a LOT on that car. Good luck to them anyway.

Whoever you are, chnage the DIS pack and sell the poerfect working car.

thats happened to me few times recently.

On one occasion the car was on a 99p start, only on a few hours, via ebay we agreed a buy it now. The seller put the buy it now on and by the time he messaged me back someone else had bought it. After all of my hard negotiation skills  :(

If it was you then well done mate. I genuinely think you got a real bargain. Change the faulty HBV and DIS pack (both of which I have here) and make a grand. :y

tragically it wasn't me, sorry to have kept you hanging on, i fell asleep earlier and forgot to post saying it wasn't me!

i'd love to accquire cars to make profit on, but i have no drive, and 4 cars on the front! not to mention i'm too lazy!
