WANTED: LPG Reducer
« on: 15 July 2011, 13:26:58 »

Am after an LPG reducer suitable for a 3.2 Omega.

I'm buying a known good kit this weekend, but the reducer is suspect, so if I can't service it, will be after another  :y

I know the kit you're getting and, having looked at some live data, suspect the vaporiser is shot too ;)

We're now running a KME Gold reducer on the V6's with no lag issues whatsoever :y :y Only down side is that they have twin vapour feeds, so 2 filters to squeeze in ::)

I may have one...
I 'sold' an L.P.G. kit via this site last year, the buyer paid a 50% deposit (fifty squid) and said he would be collecting the kit at the earliest opportunity but I still have it sat here, it seems the purchaser may have sold his car now so I guess he no longer requires the kit?

Size/awkwardness aside (not a massive issue on a DBW V6, this vapouriser seems to work well with the stag kits in the V6.  Seems to be a pig to set up though.

I can't fault the LPG in the Elite.

JamesV6CDX, or whatever your name is this week :P, I can't keep up with where you live nowadays, but you know where I am, if you want to swing by and check out mine (Stag 300 Plus, KME vap, 4 hole cylinder tank), you are very much welcome

I wanted £100 for the complete kit.
It's a 'Landirenzo Omegas' kit suitable for upto 8 cylinders, removed in working order from a year 2000 v6 estate.
Comes with all parts required including a 'spare wheel' type tank.

I'll have a sort through my ever growing pile of Omega parts and round up all of the l.p.g. components so I can give you more details.

I guess I should try and contact the original purchaser to find out whats happening too...
