Boo hoo, no music.
« on: 12 August 2007, 17:35:28 »

My joy at getting back behind the wheel of the Miggy has been tempered by the fact that the sodding radio is now in safe mode. As you know, I got very little paperwork with the car, although I did get a plastic fob with Make, Model, Reg Number and a four-digit number scrawled on it. I know they fitted a new battery and the radio was working when I got the car, so I rather hoped that number would be the code, but it doesn't seem to work.

I ordered  a Car Pass on 6th July, but it still hasn't turned up. Looks like a trip to the dealer tomorrow. They know me there and if I take in the V5 and so on, is there a way they can get hold of the radio code fairly quickly?

Don't want to drive to Gatwick on Wednesday with no music.  :'( :'(

It costs a few quid but the stealers can do a check on all codes in the car, including Radio code,
just one Hazard with that, if the radio has been changed since new then it will be the wrong code. :y

When they order carpass, the details are faxed to dealer the next day. Dealer should have the codes.

Excellent. Armed with that info, it should be no problem to get the code tomorrow.

Cheers!  :y

All sorted  :y

Went to the dealers and there was my security pass with all the info.  :) :)

However, on the way home, I remembered that I had a problem with volume control knob. Have posted in the ICE section:
