Auto to manual conversion 'kit', for sale.
« on: 27 June 2011, 10:36:29 »

I have all of the parts required to convert an automatic car to manual.
These parts were removed at the request of a fellow Forum user who, unfortunately, has now changed their mind.

1. Differential,           £40.00
2. Gearbox,              £90.00
3. Slave cylinder,       £10.00
4. Clutch pedal assy.  £ 5.00
5. Brake pedal.          £ 5.00
6. Full propshaft with centre bearing and vibration damper, £10.00
7. Rear cross-member and exhaust support,                     £10.00
8. Clutch cover and drive plate,                                        £  5.00
9. Flywheel and bolts,                                                      £15.00
10. Clutch master cylinder and clip to bulkhead,                 £  5.00
11. Gear lever assembly/plates and gaiters,                       £10.00
12. Gear selector mechanism,                                          £  5.00
13. Piece of plastic trim just behind gear lever,                   £25.00
14. Engine sensor wiring loom,                                         £15.00

15. Brake pedal switch and connector.
16. Clutch pedal switch.

All of the items have been carefully removed and all are undamaged, even the wear to items like gear knob/gaitor and pedal rubbers is minimal.
All oils have been drained from the items and I have purchased a roll of PalletWrap and wrapped the items to protect them.
I've tried to be methodical when removing items and have all of the nuts and bolts and pins and clips and springs needed.
Only points to note are it's an Original Vauxhall clutch but appears quite worn. It never slipped whilst the car was on the road but if it were me I'd think about getting it relined or replaced.
Also the reverse light and lambda sensor wiring is part of the main engine e.c.u. wiring loom, it seems a shame to hack it up.
The plastic trim from behind the gearstick is the carbon fibre look one which makes it quite rare, if you have a pre or mini facelift Mv6 then it will match your climate panel and door cards. If you have a later facelift Mv6 then it won't tie in to your car so well...

This car had no cruise so only has a two pin brake pedal switch and no clutch switch or connectors (body loom weighed in for scrap already).

If any body wants to buy all of the parts together as a kit then that's cool, if items are sold separately then the diff has been claimed already.

Prices are for parts collected, delivery may be possible or you can send your own courier at your own risk.

don't forget you need the rivet-in rubber grommet which sits under the gearlever, too.

Cheers for that, I have the rubber pad and the metal piece that goes with it, just didn't photograph them.

11. Gear lever assembly/plates and gaiters,                       £10.00
14. Engine sensor wiring loom,                                         £15.00

Are these still available?  If so, I'll have them and will need a cost for postage to Central Scotland.

Cheers.

If you Elite an MV6, does that make it an MVee-leet?

Yes Mate, they are still available.
If you p.m. me your email address then I can send out an invoice via Pay-Pal.
How does £35 in total sound, that will cover the items requested and Pay-Pal, packaging and postage with RM recorded delivery.
Cheers,
Rich.
