You won't loose all 5 years.  I had a slight bump in the missus car, her insurance (me as a named driver), we / she lost 2 years.
I think on the Omega, he had 1 yr ncd

End of the day, he's had the realisation of how easy it is to have bumps through laziness/carelessness/tiredness/frustration, and nobody hurt (which is what matters at end of day).

The car would have been visible if he had looked properly, by his own admission.  I think it was a result of tiredness (he had already done over 200m that day by then), frustration, and carelessness.

Agreed. Totally my own faut, and i admitted it to the guy i hit. I should have checked more carefully....

The other driver was good about it, we tryed to push it out by hand first, but reliased the damage was too great.

As said, got 5 years named no claims, and 1 years full no claims.

I shall be calling the insurance company shortly!  :'(

Yes we did, but looking at the damage, it would be expensive i think.

Update, just rang the insurance company.

My excess is only £200!! yay!

Very hot sounding girl, said, don't register the claim till the other party does.

If they do claim, i will loose my 1 years NCB, but, keep my 5 years named no claimes. Policy won't be affected until 27th July 2008, when i will be one step closer to 25, so they should cancel each other out.

So not toooo bad.

Its been falling steadily... i expect it to stop or go up a little. The fact i still have 5 years named no claims, and this is my first ever claim in 6 years should limit the damage somewhat.

Forgot to mention, did you see that car with the 30 poster thing stuck on the back window near Brackley on the A43 at the hill?

I passed it at 120 i er mean 70! It said something about national speed limit for 30, could not read it, as it seamed to pass by rather quick!  ::)

Ahh, plonkers like that really love my side exit exhaust (passenger side :y) and 7400 RPM red line, I find.
