How much webspace? How much mailbox space? What sort of annual fee would you be happy to pay?

We may have to limit who we can do it for to prevent users signing up to oof just for space which they can abuse. So many intermediate upwards...

I need some actuals on average space requirements so I can work out costs. eg 100Mb webspace? 50Mb mailbox? More?

If I move my web site I would be looking at 10 to 20MB, maybe more.

(Filled up the free web space)

As to email - what about spam handling? IE stop it getting in in the first place? (As this fills many mail servers).

Don't need too much

For other reasons, there will be no spam filtering on email, so down to you're local antispam measures.

So around 50Mb webspace, and about same for mailbox for you Martin?

What about other people?

Just trying to get a feel for requirements still.  This still may not happen.

Using your requirements as a base, probably looking at around £10 per year for webspace and email, £6 for each indvidually. Is this in the ballpark people had in mind?

£10 sounds quite good the Onetel space is unreliable and the BT space is adverted

It will be unmolested, so no ads, popups, or similar.

We would only take action if it contained illegal or offensive material.  Or if it was soaking up excessive CPU.

Reliability is pretty good, same server as our images server.  Saying that, there was a network issue last night.

The email mailbox would be equally unmolested, which is why we don't want to switch on the (very aggressive) spam filter.

Additionally, Martin, if you want your domain hosted properly, may be able to do that as an aside to this depending on requirements ;)
