Exhaust
« on: 16 August 2007, 23:13:31 »

Hi bit new to the forum scene so be patient but can anyone tell me what kind of exhaust system to go for on a 2.0 cdx as mine seems very noisy but not blowing as just passed M.O.T so i am presuming just old and noisy boxes and also how much roughly to expect to pay. Thanks

the general opinion here is that genuine exhausts are far better than aftermarket.

No doubt someone will be along shortly who will be able to quote part numbers and retail prices  ;)

I ended up changing my whole Exhaust to get rid of my loud noise, I found out it was the baffles that had gone in the center section

I paid around £100 including VAT on TC for Cat back lucky for me TD (dave) picked mine up for me with his trade Card and helpped me fit it at a Meet we had.

Off the Top Of my head its about 60 quid cheaper on TC for Cat Back
