newbe saying thanks for making me welcome
« on: 18 June 2007, 14:59:08 »

Hi to all omega oweners especialy laidback dave mekes all the differance when someone says hi.
I joined the forum last night and have already made good use of all the information contained within.
I am the happy owener of a Rreg 2.5 elite estate had her for about nine months with no real problems that couldn't be sorted with a bit of common sence. ie central locking drivers door stopped operating plug had fallen of the solinoid cos some joker had damaged the retaining clip, then of cause i had the inevitable alarm going off at random solution disconnected it, now i can sleep at night.
Reason for joining this forum now is friday my serpentine belt broke due to tensioner sprocket disintergrated shreding the belt, have removed all the bits and now waiting for motor factor to get the new belt and sprocket have tryed to start the car with no serpentine belt but doesn't seem right so i may need some help to get her running again.
Nearly forgot i live in tiverton in devon hope theres others around here too.

Remember, the waterpump is driven by aux belt on v6, so don't run it without the belt ;)
