Done both centre sections of my MV6 today. Thought it better to do them before they fell off.......

Got genuine VX replacements off trade club (thanks Uncle Arnold

) and fitted them to the 9 month old VX back box.
The bolts at the front to the cats were rusty lumps of metal so simply sliced them with an angle grinder rather than faffing about trying to undo them. Cleaned the ragged bits of bolt up on the cat side then got the centre dab ready to give them a punch ready for drilling. Hit the first one and it popped the bolt tail out!! I thought the nuts were captive on these? Tried the other 3 and - bonus! - all popped out.
Dressed out the holes free of rust ready for shiny stainless replacements.
Thats when I had my Pinnochio moment......
A wee devil on one shoulder, Jiminy Cricket on the other, both whispering into an ear, as I looked at the open cat pipe ends...
Wonder what it sounds like......

OK, sounds not too bad.
Lets try again and give it a bit of stick....
