Hi Guys
Just like to introduce myself to the group. I am the proud owner of a shiny green 1996 2.5 CDX that my father has just given me. That makes me sound a bit on the young side does it not. (actually mid 40s)
I have allways preferred rear wheel drive cars, used to have Opel Manta's but I am getting a bit to old to be welding them back together so moved onto Omega's about 2 years ago with my 2.0CD.

Oh that reminds me the 2.0 CD is now up for sale.

Thanks for the nice welcome chaps
Could I ask if it is possible to advertise my old Omega on the cars for sale forum, as it seems when I look at forum there does not appear to be a button to click to start a new thread.

Just like to add over the years my father owned the car I had to look after it and did a few jobs for him.
Things I have done to car are:
New coil pack (bit painfull)
New air con compressor (easier than I thought)
Regular oil, filter changes
General service items
Things he paid to have done where the cam belt an tensioners as I was not brave enought to do that.

Have to say the car has generally been very reliable for him, and I hope it continues to be for me.
