Sods law

Always happens  :(

As we've been on holiday 3 weeks the MOT was put off until today - runs out tomorrow, so all booked in for this afternoon and ready to roll ...... driving down the M4 this morning a dumper truck dropped a gurt lump of muck right in front of me .. I now have some very annoying dents in the front bumper.. but worse was the darned hole it made in the front offside light, now thats an instant MOT fail and with no time to sort it has just cost me £195 inc the VAT....  :(    £40 labour and £155 for a new light unit ... and the beast flew through the MOT as expected.

Why don't these things happen when you have time to fix them yourself ??

Talk about cars being worth the sum of their parts. Mine's worth a grand on a good day but one headlight equates to a fifth of it's value??? And just after your hols.
    Sympathies. >:(
