Another newbie
« on: 24 April 2008, 11:40:25 »

Hello, everyone,

I've been lurking around here for a while, and very useful it has been.  But now my car's got a problem that no-one seems to have written about before, so I'm joining in for the first time.

I've got a 3rd-hand Omega Elite with (I think) all the bells and whistles it's possible to put on it.  Most of it works, it goes like the clappers and it's very comfortable.

Can't do any repairs myself, though.  I used to do my own servicing, but that was in the 1970s.  These days, I couldn't even identify the parts under the bonnet.  But I've got an excellent (and reasonably priced) local garage who can sort out most stuff on most cars, so any help I pick up here, I can pass on to them.  (At the moment, they are utterly baffled by the latest problem.)

So, it's over to the General Help forum, and then I can watch you guys swing into action and sort it all out.  I won't be able to contribute much as the technology is beyond me.  But I might be able to help if your PC is broken :)

Live near Ipswich, work near Bury St. Edmunds.  Rarely venture into Cambridgeshire, though.

Rarely go anywhere, come to think of it :)
