general buying
« on: 03 May 2008, 06:45:39 »

hi again, anyone got horry stories on buying omegas ? went on ebay and bid and lost out on a few then made this guy an offer for what on his e-bay ad looked a super car, diamond motors was the name he went by, car had a super pic, taken on what looked like a new swish housing sub division/exclusive estate, foned him and he gave me a postcode, got there with satnav ( sony big screen not a fitted model ) and was in watford high street, called the guy again and he said, rather suspiciously "meet me in the macdonalds car park up the road" ok so your all probably rolling in the aisles by now, meets the guy and he says " omega ? follow me please ) very polite powlish guy, we drive what felt like 4 miles around and out of town to what i`ll politely call a car graveyard, motioned me to "a car", thgis is it he says, i just hoped i`d took my camera so i could sue him for trades description act fraud lol, poorest conditon saddest looking omega i`d seen, tyres down, had to start it with a battery jumper, hand over the exhaust pipe lead to blowing noises all over the place, noisy rattle from somewhere deep in the bowels nasty dirty interior and a tax disc from 05 !! "you can have it cheap" he then said, had to bow my head in disbelief and walk away, then the day after another pole sells me mine, ok theres bits of rust on the doors. its a manual but i love it, it just eats stuff with the back seats down and then says feed me i`m not full, sofa beds, wardrobes, my daily hump of tools and things for work on-site, why do people buy saloons lol, estates especially with a spoiler look so nice, contrast an omega with a like ford scorpio see what i mean ? yaaaaal have a nice day again
