Boody Hell - what a super friendly bunch you are! Don't suppose you all fancy comming round to mine and doing my cam-cover gaskets for me do you? I'll make you all a cup of tea!!  Cheers guys thanks for the welcome. I hope to do my gaskets this week-end weather permitting. I've read that Vectra alloy ones can be used - is this so and is it reccomended? had two new tyres (£52.00 each fitted and balanced - Admirals) fitted today coz they were both really bald in the centre (What has happened hear me thinks?) When the car was on the four post jack, I had a little look whilst the tyre guy did his thing - rear springs both snapped about and inch up from the bottom. How much do these cost? Any Ideas. Is it a big job?
