Hi again and thanks !!! It is nice to get a welcoming response from all of you.

Well today I have been out with the wash bucket and polish etc (as is the tradition with any NEW  ::)  car) and also been putting my cd's in  :y
I think I actually love the thing, it is a bit ruff round the edges I s'pose although it is 11 years old. and it seems HUGE compared to my capri and skoda. But it's great, money well spent I think. The Octavia seems pin sharp and rapid in comparison. So bring on the Skoda jokes, I will take you out in the yellow peril and quieten you  :)

The exhaust is blowing at the back but I will get that sorted soon as. Also any tips on maintainance as it has done 116, 000 i.e cambelt etc would be welcomed. Also sorry for the garbled answer, been on the wine this afternoon at a BBQ Once again many thanks, speek soon, Jim.

P.s Capri was an extremely nice 1.6 lazer which I will miss (a bit)
