Hi All
I must say this is a very informative forum for Omega owners.

I am just about to buy the 03 Estate with LPG but is a Cat C write off from fleabay.
I went to look at the car and it only needs a new bonnet, bumper bar and drivers side headlight, the bumper can be repaired but would probably get another one, all used of course - lol.
Never having owned a Vauxhall before I was hoping that I might get some feedback as to what else to look for apart from the normal things I have seen on here. The radio needs the code so I have to trust it is working. It is the CDX version, It is advertised as having electric seats but I did not see any buttons on the seat, also heated, not that I like heated seats, so I might knock him down if they are not there. I couldn't drive it when I went to view it as the bumper was off of it and the power steering pipe was fractured, so will do so before I part with the readies.
I'm sure the first question will be - how much, he wants £1000

Apologies for the length of my first post.
Roger

Welcome Roger :y :y

There are some excellent members on here who can give you a fairly accurate estimate. ;)

I'd suggest you repost your question in another section however as most do not read this one at length. Suggest you try General Chat for now :y

Hi Roger,
I'm a Nubbie 2 [only 24hrs old] welcome fella (the natives seem quite friendly) and you will find most of the info you seek if you dig a little. As to your damaged car, if the bonnets damaged then take a close look at the 'slam plate' (where the Bonnet Pin locates) it'll probably be bent, also..... the Rad / A.C Condenser gets impailed on the Fan Belt Pullies...... that'll raise yer costs !!
Good Luck Fella,
Ding a Ling   :-/
