avoid o2, very expensive.

Vodafone are the best for internet rates:

£7.50 flat fee per month

or

£1.00 charge max per day on PAY-G

Phone wise N95 has the best screen, but build lets it down.

Sony Ericcson phones are the best these days in terms of build.

Try the Opera Mini browser when on a mobile device, makes surfin on a phone a lot faster.

PM me on how to get the Opera Mini Browser  ;)

Never go PAYGo if you want value. We ( The industry) put a premium on PAYGo simply becuase a percentage of the market are those that may not pass a credit check. That therefore means those that go PAYgo through choice pay that premium too....

Our PAYGo is market leading in price and produce and is still dearer than contract.

Cheapest price, best content and fastest download speeds has always belonged to us via HSDPA on 3g.

Hi,

I beg to differ.

T-Mobile has hsdpa (high speed data packet access) , as does most of em now , but they have upgraded all their 3g masts to offer hsdpa now.

Three is too branded as is vodafone and orange.

O2 is crap and always has been behind everybody else in terms or 3g.

Ofcom fined them £750,000 last year for not having at least a certain percentage of the country on 3g. Vodafone were the people that grassed em up so i heard.

This is what i would do.......

PAYG - i would go with orange or t-mobile as both do a maximum charge of £1 for the day

CONTRACT - definitely T-Mobile , as they are at the top of the tree when it comes to speed , and have alot of hsdpa enabled handsets out (n95, vario 2 etc)

We shall agre to disagree then......JD power speaks volume on this one, customer churn also indicates otherwise as do the facts based on our contracts and tariffs against others. No one can touch us on price - we pitched a very aggressive ad launch slamming all of them and not one could come back and prove us wrong.

None of them have the sheer economies of scale we have - and if they do the funds are required elsewhere....nutshell is customer loses out.

From what i have read on the 3 website for a £2.50 add on it gives you a weeks internet access..This is better than a £1 a day but it depends on the service and signal i suppose..

Thanks for the info everyone.. :y

Erm.... i still beg to differ.

You say noone can touch us on price??? , T-mobile do the same £7.50 a month offer for internet but gives you 1gb limit instead of 120mb (and the charges after with vodafone are huge in comparison)

Secondly , the churn rate is indeed big at vodafone (i used to work there for 2 years , was a big figure in the development in 3g and internet) , and the churn rate was humungous. I still have friends working there now and the churn rate is STILL humungous!!

Thirdly... you say noone can prove us wrong. I disagree again unfortunately. T-Mobile were told by ofcom to limit the amount of connections on a daily base as they were connecting too many people to the datacard tariff (inclusive of voip data transfer).

Also..... PAYG 3g on vodafone costs £1 a day with a 15mb limit , t-mobile has the same £1 a day with a 40mb limit!

Alot more for the same money.

That my friend says t-mobile have the edge on hsdpa, 3g and price in the uk at the moment.

P.S i dont work for t-mobile. - just know my stuff  ;)
