not knowing the condition of your own there's not much i can say about comparison

non-working bonnet catch, only the bottom slip of the V5? why dont they have the full V5? is it even registered to the seller?

also, as i'm sure you know, its not a facelift like the ad states

just my opinions, it might be a great car to drive

pretty sure i've seen that advertised before... :-/

Apparently they took it in on a part exchange that is why they dont have the full v5 but that was the one he wanted so who were we to argue it is his money if he wont listen to sense he must suffer the consequences

Looks like something untoward has happened to the passenger airbag too...

I'm not sure how you stand with a car without a V5. Certainly make sure he gets a reciept for the sale. V5 isn't proof of ownership either but what if you hand over the readies and there's a snag getting the V5? You'll need proof that you purchased the car to get it, at any rate, and without proof that the seller is the legal owner, or at least the registered keeper as stated on the V5, it's a bit iffy IMHO.

if its like the R-reg mini-facelift GLS I had, it wont have a passenger airbag.  Mine was a V6 tho...

I'd personally be dubious with it.  Get proof of sale for def.  and also proof of address, etc from the current seller (photocopy of drivers license, utility bill...)

.. and I think if you aren't satisfied with what the seller offers in terms of proof of ownership you'd be quite within your rights to walk away from it.

didnt your friend advise you to ask any questions to the seller or did he just say "i want that, bid this much"?

if he decides to get the car, i wouldn't swap it for your own

I didn't know Omega"s came with two glove box"s.....the last four of mine never did, feel quite cheated now. ;D

Actually how much room is under the passenger air bag......might be a worth well modification as long as the wife don't mind headbutting the dash board in the event of a crash. :-?

In all honesty, I wouldn't touch it.

They are traders, yet nothing sold on that account for some time.

Sorry, I would not even go look at it, that is just dodgy!
