Bit of help (eBay)
« on: 01 September 2007, 12:22:12 »

First off...  Does this look painted to you??  Going from the description, do you assume it's painted, or that it is ideal for painting if you wish...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260145856000

Note the term 'Ideal for someone WISHING to color code their interior parts'...

I would say it already has been painted and it is in need of painting again as the paint is coming off. That possibly means it been painted not very well in the first place or its not sutible for painting

AFAIK, they only ever came in black (said henry ford) or you might get a silver irmscher one? Yes, that's been painted, but you have to prep them properly with plastic primer (etch?).

Does the bloke want it painting then?

Point him to here;

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1180255700

That might be a bit close for comfort though? When's he coming round to put your windows through?

1 pence as well! tut tut! I would expect it presented in a velvet lined gold case for that sort of money!

Actually, if I were the buyer I would put it down to experience. Yes, it wasn't described very well but HE should have asked the questions. (which obviously you would have answered truthfully  ;D)  Doesn't state that it was painted  :y
