hi all,

as you may be aware my car has been in and out of garage since i bought it, only had it since april. well hopefully today i shall get it bk after having it helicoiled, breathers cleaned, heat shield put bk on, new cam cover gasket, ad plug wells cleaning!!!!!! then hopefully car will be bk as good as new and won't be seeing another garage for quite a while, well apart from getting new tyres!

just out of interest whose car is also in need of work doing at minute???

Any codes stored? Failed Crank sensor will rev limit at just under 4k on the V6..

I will have to tell you the Story..................Draw up a chair...

Bought the car 4 months ago all was well.......... new belt, tensioners oil cooler head gasket water pump plugs oil filter (just been serviced)

then after about 3 weeks it started cutting out at 5200rpm i thought that i just needed to blow it out a little as the previous owner was an elderly woman who cr@ped herself doing more than 50 in it.

From then it started getting worse lack of power above 3500rpm very slow acceleration in 5th gear
i could feel it wasn`t happy
It feels as if its running out of Petrol, cutting out all the time when i`m running, tick over is perfect and as it is`nt always so i`m thinking fuel filter as i think this has not been done bought one from fleabay original Vx with clips for 11 pound including P&P

Zhought that it would of been here by now as i have this weekend off and wanted to fit

How sorry is this then.

I normally work a 6 Day week with only sundays off,  

but this weekend was a free one, So what did i do..........................yes you guessed it i got up at 4 in

the morning cause i coul`nt sleep any more   (Normally get up at 3 every Morning)

and started on the Forum again. :-/
