Changing side repeaters!
« on: 01 September 2007, 19:09:31 »

I am looking to change the side repeaters but unsure which would look best on a black meega?
I am personally thinking smoked.
Have found the the following:
http://www.body-kit.co.uk/acatalog/vauxhall_omega_side_repeaters.html
I take that these would be legal for UK use?

Or ...... you could buy 2 pairs of the later clear side repeaters for similar money.  :y

is it facelift or prefacelift

i have a green facelift, on facelift elite wheels and because they stand out quite well when they're clean they suit the clear side repeaters as opposed to chrome so it depends on the style of your car, if you had say a prefacelift with the dark 17" irmscher MV6 alloys then smoked ones would look good.. in my opinion

if you end up going for clear, they're only £7 a pair direct from a Vauxhall dealer, not sure if they can get smoked, if they do I would imagine the same price, as opposed to paying £11 online

Yup, thats decided it gonna get a pair of smoked repeaters. I think they will make it look much better imo. :y
just to add it is a prefacelift but does not have the 17" irmscher wheels as it is a ex-plod car.

Cheers Guys

Anything but orange!  & change the headlamp side bulbs too for chrome ones - it removes the fried egg look from the front - about £10 ebay.

A fine question.  Omega bulb holders have an offset arrangement ie pins at 9 and 2.  But having just checked mine I bought bulbs at 9 and 3 - and somehow made them fit.  They've been good now for 2 years but best to get the right ones 12v21w.

I have smoked ones on mine and they look good (car is satin red) Only thing you need to do if they do not come with them is to change the bulbs for the orange colour ones  :y
