Newent - middle of nowhere
« on: 01 September 2007, 21:34:29 »

As an ex Gloucester resident I know the F.O.D. quite well, but I would say that Newent is not an easy place to get to, I did A/B roads all the way but even off the M50 it is not good.

It was about 20 - 25 miles for me and it took an hour to get there - so many snails out today, at least coming home was quicker - even with a detour to Morrisons in Malvern for tea.

If you grab an Omega they can corner well - had a fun drive from Newent to Malvern round the twisty roads as I only picked up two snails and managed to pass both.
