Hello from orkney
« on: 31 August 2010, 23:22:50 »

Just bought an mv6 manual saloon in black today, every toy under the sun, sports exhaust and irmscher 17's,not had it five seconds, drove it home, little lumpy, got to just near home, started barrelling smoke from bonnet conked out on drive opened bonnet to find a nice little FIRE going on in there, :D,so a good start, cant figure out where it started or why, melted the wrapping on the loom but damaged no wiring, can only think something was nesting in engine and caught fire on manifold,as for conking out don't know, not been run for a long ime,but filler cap to the left is gunked to the neck,
Only paid 200,so will break it if its a lemon,so no loss really, but i do like it,would love to get it up and running,
Hello to all,and HELP MEEE!!!! ;D

The general fire issue on the Omega is the Power sounder when it starts to fail.
