Found this collective while looking for headlight info for my Omega - have replaced my cloudy originals with clear projectors. Got good info from the relevant fitting guide with ref to the "hidden screw"....sounds like something I was doing as an 18 yo
Have in fact had this car for 6 years and have done 41k in it with nothing major going wrong (touchwood) apart from fuel filter - consumption tends to drastically increase when there's a hole in it
However, after reading threads, have taken note of cambelt/tensioner issues and probable consequences if not attended to
First I've heard of this issue...used to swear by ford, previous 3 motors were cortina and 2 granada's (one a sweeney job). Natural progression would have been a scorpio but couldn't stomach the droopy boot and loopy smiley grille....so I went over to the dark side and I havn't looked back
Anyways, looks like a great forum and I look forward to some interesting chat
