had the vectra since late October last year .
faults i had where
1.. alternator belt snapped due to bottom pulley failing cost 189.00
2.. erg valve stuck open and fooked up dpf valve cost 996.00
3.. swirl valve in manifold came of rod (common fault) needed new updated manifold cost 768.00
4.. rear n/s caliper seized cost 163.00
all costs included fitting by main dealers
the caliper /belt&pully where covered under my AA warranty and £500 was paid towards the manifold job by the AA .
but only the cost of the erg valve was covered as they say the dpf valve is classed as exhaust parts
all this from a one owner full vauxhall service history and verified mileage car .
the 150bhp model (my one) has the fiat engine fitted with dreaded swirl valve . been told the 120bhp model don't have them so a better buy me thinks .
