Rear window washer
« on: 14 November 2006, 22:45:52 »

Is there a seperate pump for the rear window wash on an estate? only i'm not getting any water out of mine and i can't hear a pump running (tried with engine off) Wiper starts going though, so i don't think it's a switch problem.

No there isn't, it runs the front washer motor in reverse to operate the rear window washer/stream.

Fair chance that the rear jet is blocked, if it wont clear with a fine wire then get a new one, they arnt expensive.

Does that mean there are a couple of one way valves in there as well?

There will be one way valves in any washer system to stop system 'draining' after use...

Pump has two outlets, depending on roation which one water is ejected from.
