Air Bag Light
« on: 25 November 2006, 09:11:44 »

Well, after a successful Anti-Perforation Inspection, went out with Mrs AA last night, and the air bag light came on.

Tech II job, or can I check anything myself?

Have you been rummaging about under the seats AA?

Cheapo tech2 will clear the airbag light if the fault is fixed or a trip to Jaime's  ;)

AA, if you have a laptop with a proper RS232 Serial port, you are more than welcome to have a go at my cheapo tech2. Just keep in mind TheBoy's advice about not doing this while seating in the front seat. Let me know if you want it...

Yes, with the state of the supplied software, I lost confidence in the cheapo tech2, so when I was trying to read airbag stuff with cheapo tech2, i stood outside car ;)

Gearbox ECU is worth doing ;)

Markjay, you're in IT yourself, and can probably understand why I don't want to be sat in front of an airbag, controlling it with that hungarian software ;)  (though I think cheapo lead OK, just I'd sit in back seat whilst messing with SRS system  :P
