electric drivers seat

Hi all

The electric leather drivers seat doesnt go up & down properly it seems to judder as if im too heavy for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!im only 14st, ive tried it with no one sitting in it and it still does it, the button sounds ok with a healthy click when its pressed, and all connections/fuses are fine.
 its a 1994 ELITE model

Any help would be grateful.

Had the same problem with my passenger seat and after using the 13mm socket and about one turn it freed it ip nicely :)
