Brake Sensors
« on: 05 January 2007, 14:10:29 »

Just had the drivers side wheel off my dads 2001 2.2 cd... and ermm no brake sensor connections?  :-?

No sensors on the pad, and no connection at the back to plug them in! - I remember reading some ware that later facelift's only have 1 sensor?

I am guessing its on the passenger side, but mother has gone out and ordered me no to jack the car up with her around!  ::)  >:(

So while i wait, any of you chaps with later facelift's found this? only one sensor??

Mines got 2 as well (2000 X plate 2.2)

I think dads is the first of new later ones, it has different wood fascia. His seams to start easier than mine, i think his as a different make of starter motor.

Starting to think we need a new class of meega  ::)

We currently have:

Pre-facelift
Mini-facelift
Facelift

Maybe we also need Maxi-facelift?

2000/2001 - boot will not open if the key is inserted in the ignition barrel – whether the engine is running or not.

2002/2003 – Vx got rid of this silly idea, and instead came-up with an even sillier one - you need to press the release button for a (very) long time.

2006 – Hillper’s boot mod for 2000/2001 models first published on OOF - http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1155211091
