It's unlikely as the MID/TID/GID can only use what sensors/probes etc that are already fitted to the car.

Correct.

The MID can only show what the car has in terms of sensors, in all cars it usually shows the maximum it can (unless its been swapped)

Tonyomega, can you give us some more details on your car?

Age / Model (i.e CD/CDX) we can tell you what your MID is supposed to display  :y

Well the MID cannot read out speed and revs, it can do average speed.

I think if its a '95 CD it should have the full MID so:

Temp
Stop watch
distance
Range
average mpg
constant mpg
oil warning - if goes low
coolant warning - if goes low
autobox error - you don't want to see that on the MID!

Thats about, other than clock and radio station of course  ;)  :y

Earlier MIDS (radio info above computer info) have
Outside Temp
Instant Consumption
Average Consumption
Range
Stopwatch

Later MIDs:
Outside Temp
Instant Consumption
Average Consumption
Trip Distance
Trip Consumption
Range
Stopwatch

Both show extra warnings:
Head/tail bulb blown
Brakelight bulb blown
Brake Pad
Low oil level
Low Coolant Level
G/Box error
Xenon/HID problem (only later ones)

etc etc

Sorry, wasn't digging at you, just emphasising the earlier MIDs miss the trip distance and trip consumption...

A lot of missing pixels!

Your elite was early one, your car is obviously later one, no idea about Proj A as I never saw it...
