Think the misses is telling me porky pies

The misses took the meggy today instead of her veccy, got in it this morning only half tank of fuel left, thought it was kinda funnny as she had not gone to the moon and back on her journey, I asked her what happened, she said nothing just drove normally... Yeh Right... Looked on computer screen it shows fuel consumption as an average of 9 mpg... me finks someone may have been booting it...... probably best thing to do with the misses as well ...... he he he

I have exactly the same thing every time Mrs GB takes the Meega. She is incapable of driving at over 20 mpg. I ask the same question and she always says, 'I wasn't going fast'.  >:(

First time my SWMBO drove the meega she put it in 2nd and left it there.... then said "I knew it was fast .. but didn't realise it was that fast... but it seems noisier than when you drive it.....  " ..... :'(

I've averaged sub 10mpg on a few occassions when you get a good stint on the country roads....   ...not that my pattern discs would be up for that now....
