Check Lights Warning
« on: 03 March 2007, 23:00:37 »

My new Kayak instructor has a 2.5 diesel M plate Omega.  Says he has a dash warning regarding lights.

I assume this is to do with cheap stop/tail lights but any other ideas?  :-/  (Car was in for MOT today so I couldn't check.)

He also needs a seat adjuster switch (electrical) if anyone has a spare, PM please.

Or ..... it really does have a lamp out  ::) A stop/tail lamp and a tail lamp on each side.

Assuming he's checked his lights, remind him there are 2 tail lights each side, and also check numberplate lights ;)

Mine would occasionally throw up this message for no apparent reason - all lights checked and working. Is only temporary though and goes away on it's own. Guess there may be a bad connection somewhere or a loose bulb. I'll get round to checking them sometime, before I go on holiday anyway!

Mine did this after I replaced a blown rear side light bulb with a Halfrauds own branded one. I changed that one with a Vauxhall one and the problem has disappeared

Fog lights are those in the boot panel & are 21w. The 'little bulbs' (don't you plant bulbs in the garden?  ;)  ;D) are only 5w.
