On the 2.0, My engine, is slightly over-revving. At idle, when warmed up, it sits at 1100rpm (when in P or N).. and about 600rpm when in D.

When I got the car at first, I seem to recall it being lower than this.

But I've just recalled.. that it wasn't revving quite this much, before I serviced it. It's occured to me, that I did not use new gaskets on the throttle body and the ICV.. (couldn't get any at the time).. so I just used some sealent on the old gaskets.

I'm wondering if I've got an air intake leak around the TB area, causing poor MPG?

I did break off the vaccum hose that goes from the main servo/manifold thick vaccum pipe.. to the sec air injection.. but I just taped up the hole.. on the basis that it doesn't do a lot..

I think it's probably more likely the TB gaskets causing the over-rev

Might pop down in a min and read fault codes, I'm at work, but it's quiet so who cares...
