Recomendations for new front shocks please
« on: 22 March 2007, 12:14:56 »

It looks as though i need a new pair of front shocks (ns one apears to be leaking) Now I know that they are £44 + vat on TC, and i phoned a couple of place but best quote was around £66 a side for Boge / Gabriel.
Any recomendations for a 2.5 pre facelift (estate although i guess that wont make any difference)

Fitted Boge to mine at about 45 +vat each side as I didn't have TC card.  IMO  same as VX as Sach Boge are OEM.  However I think someone on here may have found Bilstein cheaper than this

I think I paid 46 each including VAT and delivery for the Bilstein Fronts.

Yeah, balance motorsports.  You have to get the part numbers from Bilsteins website.  I think they have been posted on here somewhere too.
