I didn't see the race today, sounds like it was pretty boring.

I wouldn't be completely shocked if Hamilton said that he would sit next year out instead of race next to Alonso.  Hamilton has said that he will leave the UK if the pressure from the tabloids doesn't relent.  However, I seriously doubt that Alonso will be at McLaren next year.  If I was Ron Dennis I'd let Alonso race for the rest of the season, and then if Hamilton has enough points over Massa and Raikonnen I'd pull Alonso from the last race at the last minute and send him packing.

Either way, whether he lives here or not really isn't going to make a difference in your life.  He'll still be in F1 and on TV regularly.  It may surprise you, but those things exist in other countries as well.  ::)
