brake pads,disc

i have been going to my friends workshop for ages and his work has been great but now he has changed parts supliers to macpa . he changed my disc and pads all round i have taken it back 4 times for warped disc glased pads hand brake not working enough.
 i told him to change back but he says they are cheep (and i can see why) just a little bit of advice stay away from macpa :'(

get GM discs and pads, they are around £68 on trade club. Fitted them to mine around a year ago, also flushed the brake fluid. Big difference in stopping power.

Get the discs from you local stealer, on Trade club if you can, ask local guy to fit. (or do it yourself, check out the maintance section for a guide)

Its well work the extra for GM  :y

Buy cheap, buy twice

Genuine ones not too bad, esp on trade card.
When you pick the kit box up, the weight tells you where your money has gone!

Drop a PM to Taxi Driver, his 2.2 CD is also used as a taxi... he fitted GM discs to his come time ago...

They are very hard waring, and should give you good service....

A pair of front discs with pads = £45-ish

Was that the 8v 3.0? The 24v has the same size discs and pads as Omega's...

Might have to go easy on the breaks on my 6,000 trip  ::)
