New to the forum.
Own a 2002 2.2 DTI, done lots of mods to the babe, has anyone had a remap on a DTI, I have been told my BHP would go from 118 to 160, is this right? if so can anyone recommend a company that comes to the home.

Omegatoy is the guy to talk to, I believe he's made some serious gains with his BHP....

I have a Rover 25 diesel which is up to 140bhp at the moment. I removed the cat after being told that the MOT for a diesel is based on how much smoke is produced rather than emissions, anyway you get less turbo lag and the noise of the turbo spooling up is the best and the old girl has just passed its mot  :y

Omegatoy may have some ideas on 2.2, but his speciality is the 2.5TD BMW lump....

The gains are possible either through a plug in chip or a re-map and I would suspect that the re-map will give a bit more as the full system is taken into account rather than just the fuelling. There is also a big gain in the torque figure as well power.

If you go for a re-map it should be done in conjunction with a rolling road to get the best result, someone claiming to carry it out at your door can only be providing a generic setup so may not be the best for your engine.
