It's a steering box (recirculating ball) in these cars, and AFAIK there weren't any quick boxes made from the factory, so unless you can adapt one from another car I don't think there are any easy options.

Oh rght ok.

Palmer , you say yours is a track car and a drift car. I went out last niht and tried my very best to get the back end out , and couldnt get it to budge. The TC was definitely off. Do these need alot of power to be good drift cars?

One thing i find amazing is the reaction i get from other omega drivers.

I get smiles, peeps, thumbs up and alot more. Its just like when i used to have a mini at the age of 17.

hehe

You dont def need loads of power but........ more power the easier it is..... :

if you have less power you just have to learn the hard way about weight transfer and so on....... make the car do the work.

you will need a LSD diff as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the most important thing......

BUT if on a budget .......... buy a 2nd hand diff and get someone to weld it up for you..... BUT BEWARE if used on the road will be a different car completly.. making all sorts of noises and bangs even more so when parking or turning at slow speeds.

If this isn't the sort of thing your interested in simply track down a LSD diff from a car they came in all EX police cars and the odd v6 estate.

as for the thumbs up stuff, mine isn't on the road ... but when i tow it about i def get some looks and thumbs up...

hope this helps mate... any other problems or questions drop me a PM....
