NEXEN Tyres
« on: 10 May 2007, 11:45:57 »

I need a couple of rear tyres in the not too distant future. Called in at the local tyre place and was quoted 91 euros (about £63) each for fitting including balance and valves and disposal - i.e. put on pile with a million other tyres out back of old tyres( Firestones). The tyres were NEXEN, a make I have never heard of before but they were in stock and looked OK. They come with a two year guarantee as well and are the right size and speed rating. The Firestones are 185 euros each at a garage further afield.

Anybody heard of NEXEN's before?

Sounds ok here

and the price looks good too.

FWIW I have used Kumho and Falken as good budget tyres in the past
