I just use a 3/8 drive plug socket and short extension for 5 of them but then switch to a short wobble bar for No6 which requires extra struggles and patience

Everyone keep saying that... I had no problem whatsoever with no 6... all you need do is get the exact extension length which you can do by combing two smaller bars... and it fits straight down and the wrench just clears the scuttle, no need for a wobble bar... maybe the 2.6/3.2 is different to the 2.5/3.0, though I don't see why it would be?

I'm sure that all ex 24v Senator owners will find all 6 plugs in an Omega a piece of cake to change!  ;)

I also don't recall any particular problems with no.6 on my 2.5, either removing or replacing the plug, but don't remember what sockets etc I actually used - nothing exotic for sure.
