 :-/i have a strange clonking noise comming from my drivers door on my omega elie estate 1997

it only happens when i go over bumps in the road or speed humps , or rough road, i have already hade the door panel of to fit new pioneer speakers, then the only thing i had to repair was the pastic strip which had come adrift from the hardbard, electic windows work fine bit slow but nothing from the norm..
im just wondering weather anyone else has had this problem.... its like something is loose but i cant see anything... very annoying

have you had it apart since?

could something have fell off or "unclipped"?

i assume the door still shuts and locks fine and the window still works properly?

i think you have little option but to recheck everything is tight....

When I first had my estate I had the same thing. Annoying creaking from drivers door when going over rough roads. The door striker plate just needed adjusting, done it on other cars, adjust it until you get it right. Mine also didn't shut very well either but now it's fine.
